That is, in the USA each four-year presidential election cycle brings a new set of campaign promises to shower the voters with bliss and nirvana. With a year of the election, reality starts sinking in and citizens realize they’ve been duped yet again and they find themselves no better off and their great grandchildren will be born owing the additional trillions in campaign promises that voters don’t want to pay for. So have any studies shown evidence of a surge in spiritual searching around that time of loss of “ideals” and hope? Does the return of reality encourage a search for non-political solutions? (e.g. new relationships in a faith community; a yearning for a lasting solution to life’s problems?)

Am I a Medium and Empath?
A couple of years ago I was invited to a woman’s house who I met while performing vehicle maintenance.. I had no prior knowledge or information regarding this woman’s family, history or her personal lifestyle. Upon entering I received a revelation and a strong sense that someone recently died in her house. I said to her “Someone died in this house recently didn’t they?” She responded “Yes, my grandmother died in this house about a month ago, how did you know that?” I responded “Because I still feel their presence.” Now… I’m not the type of person to openly express my thoughts or intuitions to unsuspecting individuals especially since I don’t want them to think I’m demented or mental; but I knew someone died in her house. About a week later I slept over her house and in the middle of my slept I felt a strong spiritual presence force itself on top of me, I instinctively knew who and what this spirit was because I’ve had similar occurrences before… I highly suggest reading “Old Hag Syndromes” or “Sleep Paralysis” to further explain what I experienced. To put simply, “Old Hag Syndrome” is when you wake up unable to move, barely able to breathe… you feel an oppressive weight on your chest… and you sense some evil presence in the room… These are also known as spiritual attacks, though many are documented and recorded as occurring during sleep and formed by hallucinations, all of my occurrences happened when I was wide awake. This spirit was not malevolent or evil though, it simply wanted me to know that it’s presence still lingered within that vicinity or spiritual astral plane. I felt it searching my soul to ensure that I was pure.
About five years ago when I was still in High School I moved into my brothers house in Kansas City, Kansas with his family to finish my senior year of High School. During my six months there I would get strong manifestations, dreams, and nightmares of being sexually assaulted by demonic-type entities and would awaken to the site of a demonic figure hovering at the end of my bed or above me. This was extremely odd and strange because I’ve never been sexually assaulted in my entire life, nor have I have worried, thought or feared anything like that happening to me… I would receive receive visions and dreams of my brothers wife being extremely angry, hateful and vexed towards men in general. Eventually I had a conversation with my brothers wife and she told me that as a child she was continually raped and sexually assaulted by family members; at that time, I realized that I had indeed channeled her spiritual karma, thoughts, energy, and demons into my life.
When I joined the United States Air Force I stayed in the dormitories within the military installation. One night while exercising and performing sit-ups I happened to look in the mirror and I saw the reflection of a woman with blonde hair sitting in the chair behind me… Now, this would scare any average or normal person instantly, but at that time I was so accustomed and aware of the spiritual realm that I thought nothing of it and dismissed the occurrence as my own imagination. I later found a string of blonde hair from the woman I saw in the reflection of the mirror on the chair she was sitting in; I never had any women in my room at that time. As I began to research about the dormitories and facilities on base I learned that a lot of suicides occurred in the building I was living in and eventually the military tore that building down, I think they were receiving too many reports of ghost sitings and strange activity; though I’m not entirely sure. This helped to clarify what I was seeing and experiencing.
I’ve always been extremely sensitive to my surroundings, for instance, I was at a club one time with a group of friends and I felt a strong urge and sense to immediately leave. My friends looked at me inquisitively but did not question my judgement; everything seemed perfectly normal within the club at the time, seemingly. As soon as I stepped foot outside the club a giant fight broke out from within the building involving a massive mob of people; there were no signs of altercation, arguments or hostility before I left, I just simply got a hunch to leave that precise moment.
I’ve had dreams where my car would get searched by police and exactly two days later my car would get searched after a traffic stop… It’s like my visions tell me the future before they happen. I told a friend of mine that someway and somehow we would win backstage passes to a Linkin Park concert only to get a phone call from him two months later notifying me that we won two backstage passes from him calling into a radio show!!! Like WTF is this??? It’s scary to me and incredibly strange because as I’m getting older my senses are becoming a lot stronger and more in-tuned with the Universe…
Continued – Now that I’m older I can feel and sense the emotions, thoughts and feelings of others far greater now… At times it becomes very overwhelming because it’s like I’m filtering thousands of thoughts and energies through me at one time… How do I control this?

This begins every morning as you wake up, and before you get out of bed, ask to be covered by the bright white light as protection. No. I went for a Tarot Card reading from my friend’s mother. She already knew I was having problems with my boyfriend and all she could talk about was that. I could see in the cards, as I’m quite experienced with them myself, where my unborn child was and how it was effecting my lady card. Funny, she never said anything about that card, all she could go on about was me and my boyfriend – the information that she already knew. I do trust Tarot cards because if you shuffle a completely different set and place them over the original cards you’ll find that there are similarities if not the same card will appear on top.

There is no such thing as someone who is Psychic, because with the most minimal training and the right set of buzzwords, anyone can appear to be Psychic. I have gone to two psychics in my life. The first time I went I was 16 and a family friend said how amazing this one lady was and took me to see this psychic. I can tell you that I’m 31 years old now and NONE of it came true! NONE OF IT! She cost me like $ 75 dollars and it was not worth it at all!

You can go to project gutenburg and read classic novels that are in the public domain and available for free. Any other work of fiction is protected by copyright laws until 70 years after the author’s death and not available anywhere for free. If you find such material online for free, it’s illegal and downloading it is stealing. Pax – C.

Has anyone ever recieved a free REGISTERED copy of Windows XP from an online gift offer from Yummy.com? Legit?
Last night I thought I’d do something I’d never done before. I went looking for a copy of XP that I could get cheap… Turns out I was lured(??) into a proposition to agree to a few advertiser’s services. Such as business card printing (250 cards ‘free’ + the $ 5 shipping), School online classes, block buster trial offers etc etc. Nowhere did it even say it was a registered version of XP., but if I agreed to approximately 4 advertisers offers I would get the ” MS Windows XP Professional with Service Pack ”
I’ve been perfectly satisfied with running Windows-Me, but now I want to download my movies from my digital camera. I can’t seem to find a compatible program that will read my video and then play it back. I want to download my folksongs I’ve written over 25 years onto Youtube.
I’m sure I might be getting tons of junk mail and phone solicitatioins, but I alredy get that. In fact I NEVER give my personal info out and I STILL get more crap than other people I know!

The price of everything and the breakdown of free or not is already encoded onto your sales slip, or in the case of your online transaction, recorded there. They will have access to all the aspects of the transaction just by checking the computer.

So if you intend to keep the free gifts, you will probably be charged for them, since they were only free if you purchased the other product.

where can i read Betrayal by Gillian Shields online for free?
i own the first one, Immortal, and i want to read the next book, Betrayal. i found the first 11 chapters and half of the 12th at http://browseinside.harpercollinschildrens.com/index.aspx?isbn13=9780061375842 , but i can’t find the rest of it. the only other places i have found require free trials and credit cards for memberships after the trial expires. I’m only 13 so i don’t have a credit card, obviously. does anyone know where i can find the whole book without needing to use credit card numbers, memberships, etc? i would rather not have to download but i will if that is all that is out there.
