   I’m guessing you’re talking about on websites and tv shows?
   It’s based on their culture, religious beliefs, and social status. Being a psychic is a easy way for them to make money. Chatting on a website with a American is a great pay day. Hungarians and Romanians have legends that may seem strange to American senses. They are deeply into the arts and superstitious “myths”. They also hold high respect to the spiritual world and believe their traits are passed down to future generations.

   They DON’T, that’s a stereotype, and it should be Why do most psychic and tarot readers come from Romania or Hungary?
   Tarot originated from a playing card game in China, then moved to India, and was carried across the countries by the Romany, which were a class of Indian Nomads who were moved by the Persian Army. Tarot reading as well as several other forms of divination, are widespread and varied.

   you can’t do tarot cards on-line. sorry. you have to touch the cards. but a psychics could with a little info. birth date, time, ect… check the web or yellow pages.

   It’s not a scam. It can be used as a scam (such as when a reader says “You have a curse on you and only I can remove it… give me all your money!”)… if you encounter a scam artist, run away and notify authorities. Never be persuaded to part with more money they you originally agreed to, especially out of fear!!!

   I often give readings to myself and my family. I provide readings to my freinds… all for free. I am still a student and one day I may decide to charge for my readings (to aquantences or strangers) due to all the hard work and time I’ve put into studying them and the service I provide, but it would only be a very small fee, if that.
   I’ve had a professional reading and, as a student familiar with the cards and reading techniques, I know she didn’t scam me… she gave me insights I hadn’t considered.

   Tarot cards can’t read the future… the future is ever-changing based on the choices we make. Cards can show us trends, show us what may be likely and also show us what alternatives we have and how to deal with various situations.

   Visiting a good tarot reader is not unlike visiting a councilor… you sit together and talk about an issue… it’s a three way conversation between you, the reader and the cards. A reader combines his or her visual interpretation of the picture and actions on the cards themselves sometimes with a background of traditional meanings and associations behidn the cards and, importantly, their intuition about why those particular cards were drawn and the specific message they may have (which may be vastly different then the traditional interpretation).
   You agree on a price, layout, deck and sometimes to a time limit. You ask the reader a question or give them an idea about what you want to talk about or work on and then they shuffle the cards. Sometimes they offer to let you shuffle as well. Then the reader will lay out the cards… sometimes all at once, sometimes individually, and will expalian to you his or her interpretation of what the cards and their relative positions mean in relation to your question. This is done through a combination of understanding your question (and knowing some details about you and the situation), logically applying the traditional meaning of the cards to your question and an intuitive sense about what information in the spread is relevent and important.
   This can seem quite spooky sometimes as they may say things about things they have no way of knowing about, but you are also helping them to interpret by making sure that the information that makes sense to you becomes involved in the conversation, which, in turn, helps the reader clear up some things they may not understand about later cards in the spread. That, in turn, might make readings seem slightly mundane to you, but know that there is an intuitive process involved as well as knowing that the symbols and images on the cards present a wealth of information that can help the reader and you both understad things about the situation you may not have considered if you were jsut sittign and talking about the problem over coffee.

   For instance… I had an argument with my husband… he yelled in frustration while fixing the plumbing and I thought he was yelling at ME and took it personally. I did a reading and the card I drew for him recommended that he relax and comal down and the card I drew for me recommended that I not take things so personally. We hadn’t really considered those fairly obvious solutions, but the cards helped us understand the situation.

   You dont’ ahve to be a psychic to read tarot. I’m not and I do just fine with them. You may choose to get your own deck and read for yoruself… this will take the fear, mystery and distrust out of tarot for you (and means that you dont’ have to keep paying someone else to read them for you!)

   Have NOTHING to do with any form of spiritism as this is the workings of Satan the Devil and his Demons, it is just one of the many tools the Devil uses to turn us against Jehovah God.

As to these things I am forewarning YOU, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s Kingdom.

   if the person your seeing is a true psychic then the reading can be very real and accurate, but tim sure there are ppl out there who also are just a scam.. it just depends..

   Any tarot reading or palmistry or whatever that you have done is only as real as the one giving you the reading. If they truly know what they’re doing, i think that they really could tell you things. i believe some work. but, i also think you have to visit the reader in person, not over the phone or internet. so this works best if you find someone locally. hope this helps at least a little bit

   Whether or not it happens as said or not, you are in danger to consult a medium. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. No man comes to the Fatgher (God) but thru him. Jesus should be your mediator, not tarot cards and psychic readings. That’s a form of idolatry, and punishable by eternal death in the flames.

    Most readers are fake yet have some basic truths within. The ones that are pure do not do it for money or at least do it in exchange for a small ‘love’ offering, not putting any exact price on their services.

    Just go to a place that does readings. Have a specific thought, question in mind and be open to their explanation. Then go to another and do the same. Better yet, get your own deck and see what you come up with.

    A deck of cards is just as powerful as who is holding them and using them. Everyone has different interpretations over what cards say. Just be open to different interpretations to the same question, it might be more insightful then confusing.
